Day 4 of my 2 week no food (Jelly and Soup) pre op Liver Diet
Hi All,
Just like I said yesterday, these days are just getting harder..
Today I got up at just after 9, and had to be at the doctors to see the nurse for half 11 for my 1st Vitamin B12 Injection. While there I asked about my blood results from a few months ago that they could not find, in the end after 10mins of looking she found a letter from the hospital about it, in the letter was no actual results, but it had a note hand written on the bottom saying something like "this patient has Subclinical hypothyroidism and should be retested in 3-6 months" the nurse said to me I don't know what that means and then said just come back in 3 months for a re test. I was not too happy with that comment so tried to ring the doctor only to be told I will have to make an appointment with him, as he wont talk over the phone about any results. I know its something to do with my Thyroid but will have to find out what it means if anything.
Before I went to the doctors I had a shower, and while in the shower I started to get really bad pains in both my sides, like I had twisted and pulled every muscle I could, this lasted for a few hours, and I asked if this was normal to the nurse and she just said yes, so I said even though we have different organs in each side would the not eating make both sides hurt, and again she just replied yes. so I cant wait to get back the hospital on wed and get some proper answers.
from the doctors I went to my Nan's, and sat there for 45mins with her and 2 mates of hers while they had some biscuits looking right at me, I was tempted a bit, but never gave in at all. we then went up to her room where she had 3 bottles of water for me (sweet of her or what) they where weird flavours like cranberry and mandarin, and pomegranate and something. But they where really nice, I gave one to Chris and had 2 myself.
As the day has gone one, once again, I have felt more and more like eating something, I don't care what, I hate veg but that would even do right now. For some reason there are 3 main things I'm craving, the first as everyone who has been reading the last few days will know , is KFC Wrapstar, the other two are a bit more stranger, one is a Jacobs cream cracker, I don't even want a full one, just a bit, and the other is a piece of toast don't care if its plain I just want one. Again though I have been 100% and not given in.
I have also noticed that every time I stand up or move I get a bit light headed and dizzy, while sitting I am fine, but soon as I move its weird, and when I'm walking it reels like I am drink, also my joints and muscles are aching when I more too. combined with pains in sides when sitting. My body is definitely changing in some way, hopefully a nice loss on wed, although I doubt it will be, I recon the first 5 days will be my body changing, then the second week of not eating may be where the fat/water loss really takes place.
Its 10pm now, and I have been saying I'm going to have an early night to my mate Chris, so he just asked am I going or what, when I asked why he said, he has to eat, and is having chippy. so with that I have come up to bed, out the way, if I see it I will pin him down and rob it, I just know I will, so I'm out the way up here. and I'm just off to bed, below is today's pitiful fluid intake, I have been busy and not had a lot really. will have some more tomorrow though. night all.
